Oroku Saki, more famously known as Shredder, is the main antagonist in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
This version of Shredder made his first appearance in the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated TV show. He is the leader of the Foot Clan, a criminal organization of ninja warriors.
In the cartoon, Shredder is depicted as a ruthless and power-hungry villain, constantly plotting to defeat the TMNT and conquer the world. His signature weapon is his bladed armor, especially the gauntlets with sharp metal claws.
Shredder's arch-rival is Master Splinter, a mutated rat who trained the Turtles in ninjutsu. Their rivalry stems from events in their past, adding a personal layer to their conflicts.
